Join Dr. Ashley Rieger, Tumalo-based herbalist and Naturopathic Doctor, for an exploration of the healing properties of lavender. Learn to create a lip balm from an infused oil to enjoy all winter long.
This workshop will use a solar-infused oil made with lavender buds hand-harvested in the farm fields during the medicinal plant walk to demonstrate how to strain an infused oil to create an aromatic, soothing lip balm. Take home your handmade tube and tin of balm as well as detailed instructions for future DIY infusion and balm projects.
No experience with herbal medicine necessary, and all materials are provided. Simply bring a love of nature and crafting and we’ll take care of the rest!
