Embark on a journey of flavors with our Herbs and Miso Baked Salmon recipe, a delightful symphony for your taste buds. In just 40 minutes, you can create a mouthwatering dish that combines the richness of salmon, the earthiness of yellow potatoes, and the aromatic allure of Herbs de Provence. Let's dive into the culinary magic!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs salmon filet
  • 1 lb yellow potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 Tbsp white miso paste
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp Herbs de Provence
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Kitchen Supplies:

  • Large sheet pan
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Parchment paper
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Assembly:

  1. Preheat and Prepare:

    • Heat your oven to 425°F, setting the stage for culinary excellence.
  2. Miso Butter Magic:

    • In a small mixing bowl, combine softened butter, white miso paste, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Herbs de Provence, and the juice of half a lemon. Mix until all ingredients are harmoniously combined.
  3. Prepare the Salmon:

    • On a parchment-lined sheet pan, place the salmon filet, ensuring to remove any bones. Dollop the miso butter mixture over the salmon, spreading it evenly. Reserve about ½ tablespoon for the potatoes.
  4. Coat the Potatoes:

    • In a medium mixing bowl, add the remaining miso butter, olive oil, and kosher salt. Toss the yellow potatoes until they are generously coated. Add the potatoes to the sheet pan alongside the salmon.
  5. Bake to Perfection:

    • Bake the ensemble for 25 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the salmon to cook to perfection. For the final touch, broil for the last 5 minutes to achieve a tantalizing crust.
  6. Serve and Enjoy:

    • Remove the masterpiece from the oven and let it tantalize your senses. Serve the Herbs and Miso Baked Salmon alongside a crisp side salad or your favorite vegetable dish.

There you have it—a culinary masterpiece that effortlessly brings together the richness of salmon, the comforting flavors of yellow potatoes, and the aromatic charm of Herbs de Provence. Indulge in this delightful creation, savoring each bite and relishing the symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. Enjoy!
